I just watched Desperado. Wow, where to begin. Cinematic genius. I bow down to Robert Rodriguez. It is THE BEST sequel to ANY movie. Most sequels are a mere shadow of their previous sibling, but desperado completely eclipsed El Mariachi. I can't get my head around how great the movie was. Banderes was perfect, Hayek was stunning, and the action was unbelievable. NOt to leave out the plot... perfect movie. Pardon me. It's a film, not a movie. A film.I'm still on my neverending quest for a life like the movies... Oh, how depressing real life is. How unglorifying actual existence really is. A chance glance meeting with a stranger a passing smile a walk continued in solitude.
